    My GMS Legacy

My GMS Legacy shares the richly diverse stories of the Gates Millennium Alumni with the world. Starting in 2015, this initiative is run by a task force comprised of GMS Alumni (Xavier Williams, Alexis Knaub, Denise Holman, Romesa Vernon, and Van Law). My GMS Legacy holistically speaks to how the Gates Millennium Scholars Program changed the trajectory of our GMS Alumni. From sometime humble beginnings to new heights, My GMS Legacy accounts the Alumni's road to new opportunities and applauds their growth.

Additionally, we believe each of the 12,000+ individuals in the Gates Millennium Scholars Alumni Association has a uniquely amazing story to tell. If you are doing something remarkable in your field, were featured in the news (TEdTalks, Shark Tank, etc.), have an applaud worthy experience you would like to share, or know of a GMS Alum who does let us know. Share your Story is different from the My GMS Legacy initiative. Share your Story is not your life’s story, but rather a brief spotlight into your success. How are you impacting your community, leading your profession, or conducting groundbreaking research? May be it’s an event, an anecdote, or a chance connection with another Scholar. We’d love to hear from you – just drop us a line below about how you are inspiring change.
